Sadly, we had to say good-bye to our beloved and beautiful Nova so soon after she turned 10 years old. Cancer robbed her and us of enjoying her senior years. We are profoundly saddened and heartbroken by her death. Nova was loved by everyone who met her, but none more than us who miss her terribly.

oh how heartbreaking! I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. I'm going to give Zoe an extra tight hug tonight.

ReplyDeleteI was just showing Nova's picture to my husband, saying how good she looks on her 10th B-day.
I hope she didn't suffer too much.

Thank you Amanda & Zofia. Nova was a very beautiful Vizsla with a super wonderful temperament. I couldn't have asked for a better dog to fill out my life. She is very sorely missed.
ReplyDeletewe had two vizslas who died of cancer, one in 2002 from prostrate cancer and the second last week from lung cancer, both were around 12 - and valued members of our family - I thought copper had a respiratory infection that antibiotics would fix, but no such luck - they are super dogs - we have a third one, and hope he stays healthy.
