The unexpected and untimely death of Nova, their mother, at age 10 just speaks for the need to cherish and treasure every day with your dogs. Sasha lived into this 16th year, and I hope his longevity genes have been passed on to all of his kids. I know they have certainly inherited the good looks and lovely personalities of both parents and for that, I am so grateful.
So kids! Live it up, have a blast, go for a long walk with your humans, have some special treats but above all, be loved every day.

Shandy hopes all her brothers and sisters had a GREAT birthday! She went to the dog pool with her pack and had a wonderful time. The new pool owners had decorated the building with banners in celebration of the big day! Chrissie baked special biscuits for all canines to enjoy and on the way home the gang also had a fun romp at Port Augusta Park in Comox. The fun continued on Saturday with a wonderful run at Nymph Falls, accompanied by little Annie, a good Vizsla friend, and then we all got to go to the farmer's market and be fussed over by everyone :-)
